We are an All volunteer group that began in 1954. Our membership is made up of Sportsmen who enjoy the Hunting, Fishing and Shooting Sports and work to further these pastimes among our members and the Youth of the area.
We meet the second Thursday of each Month at 7:30 PM at our Club house in Stockertown, with an open membership. The grounds feature two ponds and a stretch of the Little Bushkill Creek for the Fishermen, a 100 yard Rifle range, 25 yard Pistol range and an Archery range with an elevated platform to practice those tough tree stand shots.
Our yearly events include Block Shoots for both 12 gauge shooters and .410 gauge shoots for the novices out there. We have a Sportsmen’s Flea Market each March and a “Members Only” Fishing Tournament in the spring.
For our younger set we offer a FREE Kids Fishing Tournament with plenty of Prizes, the Novice shoots already mentioned, and a Pa. Game Commission Hunter Safety Class, along with reduced cost membership until age 16. We are also Proud to host the Northampton County Youth Field Day, a Fishing Outing for “Special Kids”, and another outing for the Blind in the area.
For those with specialized interests, a Local Bass Club – Delaware River Bass Masters, a Local Chapter of Trout Unlimited – Forks of the Delaware TU both meet at our pavilion.
