SIGN UPS – YFD & Milham, and UPDATES

 

The weather was GREAT for our Big (5 day) Members Only Fishing Tournament.  We gave out GREAT prizes and the fishing was fine.  WHERE WERE YOU??  The turn-out was low this year.  You missed some BIG prizes.  Better luck next year.  Don’t miss out on the sign-ups for the Milham Tournament and Youth Field Day.  They are both filling up FAST.

 

Our next events are listed below. We will need your help with the stockings.  Click on "Events" to see the whole Spring schedule including…

 

May 14 – We will stock the small pond for the Special Kids at 6PM.

 

May 15 – “Special Kids” fishing day – Small Pond Closed for their use also the Rifle and Pistol ranges will be CLOSED 11AM to 2:30PM.

Also, at 6PM we will stock the big pond for the Milham Tournament.

 

May 16 – Milham Fishing Challenge – go to www.Milham.com for rules. And you MUST SIGN UP at Milham as soon as possible.  Plenty of PRIZES, More fish, and your chance at a NEW Truck FREE. –LIMITED Number of openings, No Club Membership required to Fish This tourney ONLY!

 

June 5thN.C. Youth Field DayForm NOW AVAILABLE On Line. http://www.ncyouthfieldday.com/YFD.html then click on YFD Form (on the side menu) Print it and Mail in the completed form – DO NOT EMAIL IT!

News FYI – As a club, we do not endorse candidates in elections but we want you to know that several of our club supporters and members are running for office and will support your Second Amendment Rights.  They include Charlie Dent, club member Joe Emrick, and Marcia Hahn, to name a few.  So get out and VOTE.

For Novice & Youth Shoots

1.          Reloading supplies (Lead shot #7.5 or #8, powder, wads, primers)

2.          .410 ga. Shotgun shells or empties (to reload)

 

For the Pond

  1. Life size Swan Decoy (to Deter geese)
  2. OR Life size Coyote Decoy (Same Reason)

 

For Kid’s Prizes

1.        Fishing & Hunting gear (New or Repairable)

2.        Wildlife Prints, Art or GAMES

 

For the Ranges (Lumber & Stone)

1.         Plywood or Paneling - 4 foot by 4 foot (or larger) NO Plaster Board NO Sheet rock

2.         2x4 beams – at least 4 foot long – New or Used

3.         2x6 beams – at least 4 foot long – New or Used

4.         2x8 beams – at least 4 foot long – New or Used

5.         4x4 beams – at least 4 foot long – New or Used

6.     Stone fill (or donations to buy it) to fill in wet areas of the Ranges
